John Lennon

Well today December 8, 2009 marks the 29th anniversary of John Lennon's death. If you don't know, and you should, Lennon first became famous with a band called The Beatles, you might've heard of them. If you've never heard their music, i suggest you start downloading now. He was known and loved around the world, fighting for world peace and love. Lennon was shot outside his home, The Dakota, right across the street from Central Park, when he was 40 yrs old. And every year at Strawberry Fields his wife Yoko Ono holds a memorium to Lennon. Unfortunately this year I wasn't able to attend. But yes, I did pay homage to him by listening to his music today. So let us please, remember the man who gave us "I am the walrus", "Across the universe", "cold Turkey", and "Imagine". This photo below the taken right before his death..... And just so happens to be my FAVORITE pic.

“If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliche that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal.”
